Immobilized in Point and Shoot:
A Comic Novel

IMMOBILIZED IN POINT AND SHOOT: A COMIC NOVEL. January 21 - February 20. 30,000 words. Start trying to sell ANTHROPOLOGIST-IN-RESIDENCE (AIR) to New York. Write pamphlet 8 Short Reviews of ANTHROPOLOGIST-IN-RESIDENCE (AIR). Attend booksALIVE 2008! at Gulf Coast Community Center. Brenda and I watch the Super Bowl. At booksALIVE 2008! Mike Lister asks me if I want to write a column for the bi-weekly Gulf County Breeze. I do. I start writing BLACK HARVEST, a mystery set in Gulf and Bay Counties. The hero in the book writes a column for Balmy Breezes. I write my first column and it turns into five columns. It turns into a book, SOUVENIRS. That's the name of the column. A souvenir is a memento, or item of memorabilia. So I am typing up IMMOBILIZED IN POINT AND SHOOT: A COMIC NOVEL, writing BLACK HARVEST, writing SOUVENIRS, and not getting paid for any of them. If that won't immobilize you nothing will. If that isn't funny, nothing is. I don't know, I guess IMMOBILIZED IN POINT AND SHOOT: A COMIC NOVEL was just a leppie, a motherless calf, that came between ANTHROPOLOGIST-IN-RESIDENCE (AIR) and the next two books, BLACK HARVEST and SOUVENIRS OF FLORIDA'S FORGOTTEN COAST AND FLORIDA'S EMERALD COAST. Also sometimes motherless lamb. Also spelled leppy. Some likes girls and some likes boys, my love she makes a bahhhh-ing noise.
