Niceville

Even though he was a big Newgrass Revival fan, Old Folks had never been to the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival, which is held in Niceville every year.

Niceville was the halfway point on the Emerald Coast leg of the round-robin side-trips he used to take, and he would try to go by Giuseppe's Wharf, on Choctawhatchee Bay, around lunch time. They had a good seafood platter.

The Air Force Armament Museum was in Niceville.

They started out with one of the B-25s from Billy Mitchell's Tokyo raid out front, and now the yard is full of airplanes.

Usually, Old Folks would stop in there, if they were open.
