Brenda and I watched Capitalism: A Love Story.
I didn’t know about William Black and Marcy Kaptur.
They are now among my heroes. I remember those educational films,
indoctrinating us. The child of the hippie parents in Matinee,
being sent to detention because she thought covering her head
with her elbow in A-bomb drill was stupid. John Goodman
kept Jeff Bridges from winning an Oscar for The Big Lebowski
because he was so good as the
Glenn Beck saying, “I want all my pie.” Bukowski kicked
a pregnant woman down a flight of stairs, and then cried,
“Mommy.”
