I quit IBM. I stayed at home and wrote.

I wrote and published Evil Genius and Open Book.

I sold them at Fantasy Fest ’86 in Key West

and Miami Book Fair International. I wrote Forty

about doing that. Forty was later published by

Popular Reality. With an afterword by Blaster Al,

“Jack Saunders Revisited.” Forty is full of letters to

people like the book editor of the Miami Herald,

the head of the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs,

the book editor at Esquire, the head of the Palm Beach County

Council of the Arts. Please don’t throw me in that briar patch, Br’er Fox.
