Heap wrote a column for the Point and Shoot Weekender,
a weekly advertiser.† Also book reviews.† He was a roving
cultural reporter.† He went to concerts, plays, CD and book
release parties.† In his book he called the paper the Mullet Wrapper.
He was proud to have a paying outlet for his work.† He published it
at his website, The Daily Raver, and charged the paper to reprint it.
That way, he owned it.† It wasnít work for-hire.† He didnít sell
his soul for a mess of potage.† Potage is soup.
He ate lunch at Trigo Deli yesterday.
He got a pastrami and Swiss
and a tomato-basil bisque.
