Sporting Life was writing a book called YEAR 41.
He thought of Richard Harris in This Sporting Life,
playing a rugby player. Those guys drank, that generation.
They smoked cigarettes. Everybody smoked and drank
and played around. Sporting Life was happily married.
He no longer smoked. He no longer drank.
His life, I don’t know what is
so sporting about it.
The element of
chance, I guess.
