Dear Michael Radulescu:
I am writing a pair of books about posting the books I write online, daily, as I write them, in real time.
263 of them since
The pair are called Roots Music.
The first book, POTLICKER JOURNAL, is complete. It ran 57,000 words.
The second book, SEASIDE BLOG, should be about the same length.
I enclose a description of Roots Music.
Would you care to see POTLICKER JOURNAL?
The area I am writing about has some very special contrasts, where native net fishermen and deer hunters, for the table, have been supplanted by real estate developers and the people who buy McMansions in Paradise—two skewed, twisted versions of the American dream.
Think of setting a writer like Hunter S. Thompson loose on this.
Thompson was stationed at Eglin AFB. He wrote wrestling promotion for the Playground Daily News. Billy Boy and Bad Boy Hines.
Think of Mickey Rourke playing Henry Chinaski in Barfly.
