There's a Visual Arts Center in Panama City.
In the old City Hall, across from
the Martin Theater.
Panama City Artists meets there. I met Matty Jankowski
there,
a mail art artist from New York City who was also into
body art and graffiti.
But he knew who I was talking about
when I talked about Monty Cantsin. He knew
David Zack and
Blaster Al Ackerman and Istvan Kantor. He knew Mark Bloch and
Carlo
Pittore. He knew Ray Johnson and the New York Correspondence School.
How
to Draw a Bunny. He knew who Henry Darger was. Also Howard Finster.
Crazy
Eileen's soul-mate at her Seaside gallery, Franco Washboard Jackson,
painted memory
paintings, including one of a Vincent Black Shadow.
Missionary Mary Proctor.
