The Red Bar is my favorite place
to hear music. It's a restaurant, and welcomes
families.
Kids like the music as much as the grown-ups.

You might hear "Take the A Train," you might hear "Minor Swing,"
you
might hear "Sunny Side of the Mountain," you might hear, "I've Always
Been
Crazy But It Keeps Me From Going Insane." You might hear
"Introduce
Yourself," or "House of Gold Bars." You might hear
something you've
never heard before. Balder said Dread Clampitt
can play two sets on Sunday and
one set on Monday night-
that's seven hours of music-and not repeat themselves.
They do a supper cruise where they play all Beatles songs.
They play a Pink
Floyd song,
"Teacher leave those kids alone."
"Another Brick
in the Wall, Part II."
"We don't need no education,
we don't need
no thought control."
