Carrabelle

There's not much to see in Carrabelle.
The Camp Gordon Johnston Museum.
The docks, the bridge across the inlet,
a waterfront bar. The world's smallest police station
(a phone booth). Or was that Ochopee, Florida.
The world's smallest post office. As Uncle Dave said,
the last 40 years (since World War II) went by in a grunt.
He died not knowing who he was, but he remembered some of what
he'd done. He had waking nightmares about Guadalcanal and Peleliu
with the 1st Marine Division. Maybe Okinawa. He was a shrimp boat
captain in Parker, Florida, then retired, at the end, after he got Alzheimer's.
Larry David had panic attacks and night-sweats.
He was an ex-physicist. Quantum mechanics.
Luck plays a part in fate.
Random chance.
You'd think Patricia Clarkson would have told Woody Allen
in Louisiana Plaquemines County is Plaquemines Parish.
It's Leander Perez and it's no laughing matter.
