I stayed in a Holiday Inn in Homestead once.
I came in late and left in the
morning, after breakfast.
My only other memory of Homestead is pictures of Hurricane
Andrew.
When asked if I would get any TARP money, to help me out,
in the recession,
I said I might get a blue, Hurricane Katrina
FEMA tarp. To sleep under. And
some bottled water.

We lost our life savings, our pensions, our homes.
Where did it go? The
bankers got it. The derivatives market.
Alan Greenspan said the economic model
he had gone by for 20 years
was incorrect. Who knew? Who could have known?
