I took Owen to the Ringling Museum in Sarasota
to see the big Rubenses. When
Carlo Pittore visited us
in Delray Beach, I asked him if he was going over there,
and
he said, "Not this trip." He drew Owen and Balder's
portraits. We
took him out to Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge
to see the sky over the Everglades.
I thought he'd like the light.
He did. He's dead too now. He did a watercolor
of me.
