out of Mama Leone’s cookbook, for lunch,
and I thought about cooking all the recipes in
Leone’s Italian Cookbook and posting it at a blog,
but then thought, No, it’s been done. They even made
a movie of it. Who would play me? Warren Oates is dead.
Fred Ward is too short. Nick Nolte is unstable.
Maybe Ward can act tall. Meryl Streep did it
in Julie & Julia. Books, movies, lists.
A list is heuristic. One sees lacunae,
or gaps. Also disconformities in
the stratigraphic record.
