Artisan Bread

I went to Books-A-Million to buy
A Moveable Feast, the Restored Edition,
but they didn't have it, so I ordered it
from Amazon.com. It will come in two days, UPS.
I have free shipping. Well, not free, I pay so much for it
a year. But they charge it to my credit card. I don't see it.
I need to read it for my work. It is research. The library
has no money in the budget to buy new books, so I can't request it.
I buy books and give them to the library. There's a hurricane in
the Gulf of Mexico. Nothing to worry about, I don't think.
There's a new show at the Visual Arts Center but they are
closed on Monday. I write a little ahead, in case I get behind.
Brenda made artisan bread this weekend. It has a crust. I keep the dough
in the refrigerator, let it rise for two hours, and cook it 30 minutes in
the toaster oven. Serves two. Hot bread and lightly salted butter.
Let me take you to Lipp's and buy you pork. Maybe I'll cook
a roast today, with collard greens and sweet potatoes.
You might as well eat well.
Living well is the best revenge.
