Progress

My computer’s in the shop.

I have registration issues with Microsoft.

I can’t fix them myself.  The problem is

they don’t like me using a dial-up modem.

I hate it when things break.  My automatic dishwasher.

The window air-conditioner in Brenda’s bedroom.

The gas range.  The burners work but the oven doesn’t.

Don’t even ask about the family car.  An ad for Buick says

we need an Autobahn.  We need public transportation.

Ford’s idea of what we need is the Explorer.  25 mpg, highway.

Maybe.  Do they still turn over?  Dr. Rikki Ott says the difference

between Exxon 20 years ago and BP now is the government is more

passive and the corporation more aggressive in management of

the information.
