I woke up this morning and checked my
email.
I had a note from Tina Aridas saying she and James went to hear Owen
at Superfine last night. They traded CDs. She and James only stayed for one set,
because she has to work today. A free-lancer has to make hay while the sun shines.
After July 7, the work slows for the summer. More time for music, less money to
do it with.
I told her I could relate to that.
I said I dreamed about
the factories last night.
I am too old for the factories.
I woke
up with a piss hard, which is unusual for me. A full bladder. Usually, I get up
during the night to pee.
I didn't tell her that.

Then I wrote a short note to Maggie, Lee Child's webmaster.
Maggie:
I mention Lee at Person, What I'm Reading (cont'd), and Dossier on Old Folks.
Regards, Jack S.
Then Jeff Potter asked me "What's the Word?" wanting to know what
was the word for a group of three bad guys, not trifecta.
I replied.
Is it troika?
Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo were a troika.
So are Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Bush.
People used to ask me for a word for something, or how to spell a word they
could pronounce but not spell.
Like chlamydia.
