Aiee, The Phantom

In Tallahassee, Patrick Kelly wanted to look up Henry Baker.

Blue Horse was a little magazine that stemmed from their association

at the University of Florida.  I didn’t know Henry had been literary.

He was an archeologist when we knew him.  In fact, I worked with him at

the Old Capitol.  We called him The Phantom.  If you asked for him at the site

he was at archives and if you asked for him at archives he was at the site.

Archives was the Bureau of Historic Sites and Properties in the R. A. Gray Building.

The site was a salvage grant we had to sink potholes in the yard of the old capitol.

Actually, archives was short for Division of Archives, History, and

Records Management.  Records management is lies and bullshit.
