Usually I go to the Gulf Coast Writers Conference.
Usually I am a presenter. I give two lectures. I write
a pamphlet to hand out. That is, two pamphlets, one on
each topic. Usually I attend the plenary session, at the end.
The Q&A with all the guest lecturers. The experts. I am
an amateur. That is, not a professional. I tell the audience,
“I’m sorry, but you are asking the wrong question.”
Possibly the right question but of the wrong person.
