Apropos of high school class reunions,
Brenda and I watched The Last Shot and liked
Joan Cusack, so I ordered Grosse Pointe Blank,
but we didn’t like the music, and either didn’t get
the satire or thought it was too obvious.
Kurt Vonnegut says the people who run things now
are the ones who were the high school annual staff.
I think everybody writing comedy on TV was on
the Harvard Lampoon. Including half of
Alzheimer’s, not knowing he had ever been
a writer. I’s rather watch Point Blank with Lee Marvin.
Or Payback with Mel Gibson. The director’s cut.
