A Glazed Terra Cotta French Casserole

Point and Shoot, Florida (YU)--Heap bought Brenda two glazed terra cotta French casseroles at Maison Blanche, a medium one and a slightly larger one. They were glazed on the inside and bisque-ware on the outside. The handle was hollow, and as big as the grip of a tennis racket, or bat. Heap was to make several cassoulets in those pots, over the years, out of white beans, lamb, turkey, many Thanksgivings they would cook a turkey and a leg of lamb, and make a cassoulet out of leftovers. A little white wine.
