Dear Robert Coram:
I often think about your book about Boyd. It has stuck with me. It resonates
on many levels, as we say. With my experience as a GI in the Air Force, my experience
in corporate America, working as a technical writer, and my experience as a literary
writer who can't place his books because he isn't writing what New York is looking
for, and the alternatives that used to exist don't anymore, for me.
I also
know to look at your web page if I am diagnosed with prostate trouble, and start
researching the subject there.
I look forward to reading your new book.
I will buy it when I see it and review it at my web site (www.thedailybulletin.com).
That won't help you very much, but I no longer send reviews out.
I may send you a copy, and you can quote from it, if you care to.
I don't
see how that would help you much, either.
Good luck with the book, though.
My son is an ex-Marine. He was a bandsman, between the two Iraq wars, and
didn't see combat.
But he could appreciate the influence Boyd had on Marine
thinking.
We could shoot the shit about it. A father-son bond, so to speak.
Fraternally, Jack Saunders
p.s., I preordered the book from Amazon.com. Thanks for the link.
