Lafayette

We left, and drove to Lafayette, to get back on I-10, and eat lunch.

We drove by Bruce Foods. I use their pepper sauce.

We drove by Spanish Lake Trailer Park. We--the crew--stayed in a house trailer there.

In Lafayette, we ate at the Evangeline restaurant. Cajun food.

We each got a platter, and so had plenty of crawfish dishes to sample. The kind with stocks and sauces you don't make at home. A brown roux that needs slow, careful, constant stirring.
