Wednesday
Point and Shoot, Florida (YU)--Heap turned in his rental car.
He used
Enterprise because they would give him a ride home. Brenda didn't have to get dressed
and follow him to the rental car place.
Heap made French toast out of the
baguette Brenda bought at La Boulangerie, in New Orleans. Then he
went to the rental car place.
Brenda said that she saw why Larry shopped
at La Boulangerie. The French girls behind the counter were practically naked,
and jiggled when they leaned over. They leaned over a lot.
That reminded
Heap he woke up with a piss-hard.
"Shall I summon the missus, sir?"
"No, Jeeves, get me a baggy pair of tweeds--I'm going to try to smuggle this
into London."
Heap had to be reminded of a hard-on.
But he didn't
have to own a Cadillac to get one.
And Larry probably went into La Boulangerie
for the pastries, as much as for the jiggle.
Larry once shouted out, at a
party, where people were flirting with each other, "I ONLY FUCK MY WIFE."
The flirting made him uncomfortable. When Larry was uncomfortable, he acted out.
He acted inappropriately. What is appropriate when you are made uncomfortable by
people who are not uncomfortable. For whom the uncomfortable, to you, is appropriate,
to them?
Before they left for New Orleans, Heap and Brenda watched a movie
called Lush, set in New Orleans, among the Country Day graduates.
Neither of them could make heads or tails of it.
