Q: How was Thanksgiving?
A: I enjoyed it. The women did most of the work. I just sat and listened
to the stories.
The food was good.
The car started. We got home.
Ella and Rowan played, and watched TV, in the living room. DVDs of kid movies.
We don't get to watch television while they're here.
But that way, we don't
have to see the ads. And the programming.
It's all about money. Who's hot,
who's not. I'm not. Don't rub it in.
Your shoes are garbage. Your shoes
are garbage.
A lot of the younger people were afraid of losing their jobs.
Some of the older people had lost their jobs.
It's cold, but the heater lights.
I have enough money to make it through December. Then I have to start looking for
work.
I'll be able to write CHRISTMAS STORIES.
